Synergie Australia sponsor the Community Achievements ‘Safety Award’ for the sixth year in Queensland.
Safety is a crucial aspect of the modern workplace that must be addressed to the highest standard to enable employees to have happy, productive, and purposeful working lives.
While safety standards have been steadily improving over the last decades, recent workplace death and injury statistics show that there remains a clear need for continued improvements in workplace safety. Last year alone, according to Safe Work Australia 139,000 serious workers compensation claims were made, with nearly 200 fatally injured. https://data.safeworkaustralia.gov.au/).
At Synergie Australia, safety is of the highest priority, and we pride ourselves on fostering a culture that champions guidance and care in the workforce. As a result, we are proud to sponsor the Queensland award for the sixth consecutive year!
What are the Community Achievement Awards?
The purpose of Community Achievement Awards is to acknowledge, encourage, and reward significant contributions made throughout Queensland, by organisations, projects and individuals to the wellbeing and prosperity of the state’s population.
Six years ago, Synergie Australia joined Queensland Community Achievement Awards sponsoring the Safety Award. We are delighted to see the Awards – started in 2002 with a regional focus – having grown into a televised State-wide event featuring a significant number of categories and such major sponsors as 7News and Bendigo Bank.
This year, we at Synergie Australia are excited to continue our support of the Community Achievement Awards to also recognise outstanding workplace safety initiatives in Queensland!
What is the Synergie Australia Safety Award?
