Synergie is seeking a Machine Operator for a structural steel workshop located in Kingsford.

Due to an increase in production, we are seeking an experienced industrial machine operator ideally with a structural steel workshop background to join the team.

Day shift is available, the workshop runs 8-10 hour days from 6am, Mon-Fri, and 6-8hrs on Sat (optional). This role is casual for a probationary period with a view for permanency. As this is a long-term role with a view for permanency, citizenship, residency or a Visa with unlimited working rights (no sponsorship) is required.

What’s in it for you:

  • Consistent, stable hours and a view for permanent employment
  • Negotiable pay rate based on experience
  • Monday – Friday (up to 10hr days currently) with overtime opportunities on Saturday. Overtime fluctuates, standard weeks are 38hrs.
  • Career progression opportunities 

Requirements:

  • High Risk LF (forklift ticket) is desired
  • High Risk GB and/or overhead crane experience desired
  • Previous experience in the steel/metal industry
  • Own car & licence
  • Great work ethic
  • Previous experience operating CNC machines is desired but not mandatory
