Synergie is seeking a Reinforcing Welder for a leading manufacturer of civil concrete products, located in Edinburgh North.

Our client is a national manufacturer of civil concrete products supplying to sectors such as residential development, local governments, water authorities, civil infrastructure, irrigation  and the plumbing/drainage market. They are renowned for being the largest producer of precast concrete and pipe manufacturing with our operations expanding and employing 800 employees across 6 states in Australia. Due to growth, we are currently seeking experienced welders to join the team. 

Pay rate – $36 per hr (including casual loading)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG welding
  • Bending bars as per drawings using machinery and jigs
  • Weld steel bars and mesh
  • Fabricate cages for concreting 
  • Reading/interpreting drawings
  • Work in a manufacturing environment

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Proven MIG welding skills
  • Ability to pass a welding test
  • Drug and alcohol screening prior to commencement

Shift Details:

  • Day Shift: 5:00am – 1:30pm Monday to Friday
  • Overtime Available, including Saturdays
