Working hours: Flexible start time 6:00am to 8:30am (Standard 8-hour day Monday to Friday).

Location: South Western Sydney, within a key industrial hub close to major transport routes. 10km radius from Liverpool NSW 2170.

We’re seeking a detail-focused Metrologist to support quality inspections and create inspection programs for client-supplied products in a third-party manufacturing environment for industry leaders in the healthcare, construction and tech sectors.

What You'll Do:

Create, develop and execute inspection programs for client-supplied products
Perform precise dimensional inspections to ensure product compliance
Conduct durability and destructive testing as part of product assessment
Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to resolve quality issues
Maintain accurate inspection records and support continuous improvement initiatives

Essential Criteria

Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field
Experience in Metrology, including dimensional inspection, calibration, and QA in a manufacturing setting
Understanding of statistical process control (SPC)
Proficiency in CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) operation and programming
Proficient in MicroVu systems and standard metrology tools e.g. micrometers, calipers
Skilled in using Minitab and other measurement analysis software
Strong understanding of GD&T and technical drawing interpretation
Unrestricted working rights in Australia
