Synergie is seeking a Labourer for an industry leader in sustainable waste management solutions located in Whyalla/Port Pirie.

​​​​​​Overview:

Provide skilled labour support during shutdowns in Whyalla or Port Pirie in respective plants, Onesteel, Santos Port Bonython & Nyrstar.

  • Locals Only – work requirements at both Whyalla & Port Pirie

Days & Hours:

  • Shift times may vary – primarily 6am – 6pm & 6pm – 6am
  • May be required to work some weekends and night shifts
  • This Scope – Shifts for Friday 29/08/2025 and Monday 1/09/2025
  • ADHOC Shifts, Fortnightly Shutdowns (Friday Pre-shut Cleaning once per month, Shutdown Works on Monday to Wednesday every fortnight)and Bulk BAU Every Friday (work fluctuates between Tuesday to Thursday)

Essential Tickets:

  • Drivers licence (C Class)
  • Working At Heights
  • Confined Space – Must have been completed ion the last 2 years

Desirable Experience:

  • Vacuum Loading Labourer – Experience with vacuum hose operations and control use
  • Vacuum Loading Operator – Experience with complete vacuum truck operations.
  • HPWJ Class A Labourer – Experience with Hotwash/Speedy/Gurney Gun Work
  • HPWJ Class B Operator – Experience with High Flow Gun Work, Flexi Lancing or Tank Head Work
  • WAH, CSE , Standby – experience in field with controls, permits and safe systems of work.

Pay rate: 33.38 per hour (including casual loading)
