Synergie is seeking a Side Lift Drivers for our leading waste management company located in Mortdale/Randwick.
The important parts:
Tenure: 3 Months Contract
Shift: Day shift – Monday to Friday
Hours: 5:00am – 12:00pm
Pay rate: $38.08
Start Date: Immediate start available – long-term opportunity!
What you will be required to do:
Operate various vehicles and equipment — including left-hand drive — in line with training, operational procedures, and company regulations
Ensure vehicles are presented to a high standard, both internally and externally
Perform routine maintenance and daily safety checks on vehicles and equipment as required
Service kerbside recycling bins within the Newcastle Council Area, ensuring timely and efficient collection
To be successful in the role you will:
Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence (Australia) or Class 4 Licence (New Zealand) – minimum requirement
Proven experience operating a side lift, left-hand drive, or rear lift waste collection vehicle
Previous experience in the waste management industry is desirable but not essential
Side-lift driver/operator experience
Council Contract Experience
Strong work ethic with a clear understanding of the importance of reliability and punctuality
Committed to maintaining a safe work environment and following safety protocols
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrates mechanical aptitude and a hands-on approach to problem-solving
Pre Employment Requirements: Driver History Report, Cleanaway WH&S to be completed prior to commencement (certificate to be presented to site manager on arrival).
