Synergie is seeking a team leader – auto operations for a auto yard site located in Pinkenba.

The important parts:

What you will be required to do:

A Summary of the role

  • Lead with impact: Motivate and mentor your team to deliver excellence and enjoy their work.
  • Communicate clearly: Run regular team huddles to share goals, updates, and tackle challenges.
  • Grow your team: Provide training and development to boost skills and confidence.
  • Own the schedule: Manage rosters, workloads, and performance reviews with precision.
  • Streamline operations: Oversee vehicle bookings and ensure customers are scheduled smoothly.
  • Be the customer champion: Coordinate pickups and resolve any hiccups with professionalism.

 

To be successful in the role you will:

 

  • A genuine love for cars and delivering standout customer service.
  • A safety-first mindset and commitment to doing things the right way.
  • Proven leadership experience, ideally in a customer-facing or operational role – automotive experience is a plus, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative attitude.
  • Ability to meet goals and maintain high standards under pressure.
  • Confident problem-solver who stays calm and effective in challenging situations.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to inspire others by example.
