Synergie Australia is seeking Leading Hand Carpenter's for our client based in Darwin, NT. Our client is an Australian-owned construction company delivering high-spec government and Defence projects across Australia and the Pacific. With a growing national presence and a $1 B+ defence project underway, they’re expanding their Darwin site team.
About the Role
You’ll support site operations across multiple new-build Defence facilities, coordinating trades, enforcing safety, and ensuring work is delivered to spec and schedule. Ideal for a hands-on supervisor looking to step into Defence work.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate site trades
- Maintain WHS and QA standards
- Monitor progress, materials, and subcontractor performance
- Report daily to the Site Manager and Project Manager
- Uphold Defence security and site compliance requirements
About You
- Trade-qualified Carpenter with strong site supervision experience
- Experience on large commercial or government builds
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Clean Police Check | Defence experience preferred
