Paint and Coatings Manufacturer
Location: Yennora NSW 2161
Pay Rate: $36.31 per hour
Day Shift: :Mon - Thurs 6:00am – 2:30pm Friday 6:00am - 12:30pm
Hands-on role with plenty of variety
Our client is a leading manufacturer of paints, coatings, and industrial chemicals. We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Production Technician to join the team at their Yennora facility.
About the Role
This is a physically active position that includes both production and forklift operation. The successful candidate will initially work on the day shift and may transition to the afternoon shift depending on operational requirements and individual performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the batching and dispatch of paints and coatings
- Measure raw materials accurately and follow batch instructions
- Operate plant machinery and forklifts safely and efficiently
- Adhere to strict safety, quality, and environmental protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of production areas and equipment
- Collect samples for laboratory testing
- Work safely in an environment with temperature changes, dust, and noise
- Handle chemicals safely and in accordance with procedures
Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing or production
- Ability to lift and handle items up to twenty kilograms
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A team player with a proactive and self-starting attitude
- Full working rights in Australia
