Synergie Australia is seeking an Administration & Customer Service Officer for a valued client in Gladstone. You will be employed by IPA on a labour hire basis and play a key role within the Social Housing and Housing Assistance Team, delivering essential services to clients both in-office and in the community.
The important parts:
- Full-time – Monday to Friday
- Immediate start available
- Work directly with clients to support social housing and housing assistance initiatives
What you will be required to do:
As an Administration & Customer Service Officer, you will provide vital frontline support and administrative assistance. Duties include:
- Assessing housing applications against eligibility criteria
- Delivering high-quality customer service as the first point of contact for office visitors
- Managing tenancy waitlists, allocations, and vacancies
- Conducting annual property inspections
- Raising and managing work orders for property upgrades and maintenance
- Supporting daily office operations with a variety of administrative tasks
To be successful in the role you will:
- Have previous administration experience in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
- Demonstrate empathy and emotional intelligence when engaging with vulnerable clients
- Have experience in social services or housing (highly regarded)
- Have full working rights in Australia
- Have access to reliable transport to attend work
- Demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety and client wellbeing in every task
