Synergie Australia is seeking a Building Estimator located in Maryborough.

The important parts:

• Full time hours.
• State Government Department.
• Immediate start.

What you will be required to do:

The Building Estimator assists the business unit to interpret, plan and prepare accurate building estimates. Maximising project profitability and ensure client satisfaction.

• Producing high quality tender and quotation documentation for building projects, ensuring compliance with industry best practice, departmental standards and client requirements.
• Assessing and preparing accurate and timely estimates, quotations and project trade packages; including material lists and construction programs.
• Assisting in the development and research of estimating, costing, contract administration and contract cost management practices.

To be successful in the role you will:

• Construction industry related trade qualification (highly desirable)
• Current Workplace Health & Safety General Safety Induction Card.
• Current Open QLD Driver’s Licence.
• Proven ability to apply best estimating practices, to interpret, plan and prepare accurate building estimates.
• Working knowledge of contemporary estimating methods used in the building, construction and maintenance industry, including associated legislative and regulatory requirements.
