Join our client – a global facility services provider working in the defence space – and be part of a team that delivers high-quality hospitality services in a unique and rewarding environment. About the Role

As a Site Chef, you'll play a key role in providing high-quality, nutritious meals to workers on a defence base. This is a contract position with a rotating roster and split shifts, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, structured environment and enjoys the challenge of delivering consistent service under pressure.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Preparing and cooking meals for breakfast, crib lunch, and dinner services
  • Maintaining a high standard of hygiene and food safety compliance
  • Assisting with menu preparation, stock control, and kitchen operations
  • Ensuring dietary requirements and food portions are managed correctly
  • Working as part of a kitchen team to meet service deadlines
  • Supporting cleaning and sanitation of kitchen and equipment

What We're Looking For:

  • Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery ( Cert IV)
  • Previous experience in bulk catering or remote/industrial sites preferred
  • A strong work ethic and a team-oriented mindset
  • Good time management and adaptability under pressure
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and provide police clearance
