About the Role

Synergie Australia are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our growing team based in Prestons, NSW. This is an ongoing, full-time position supporting our service department with the installation, maintenance, and repair of engineered pump systems across a variety of commercial and industrial projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical or electrical trade background and experience working with pumping systems. This role is suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes pride in their workmanship, and thrives in a fast-paced, field-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, breakdown response, and repair work on pumping systems.

  • Install and commission new pump systems to meet project and compliance requirements.

  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults and implement practical, efficient solutions.

  • Maintain clear, professional communication with both internal teams and external clients.

  • Complete service documentation accurately and on time.

  • Ensure full compliance with safety procedures and WHS regulations.

  • Participate in toolbox talks and contribute to a proactive safety culture.

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in service operations and processes.

  • Customer, and Client facing.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Electrical Background experience

  • Site Experience (working on the field)

  • Disconnect/Reconnect Licence (minimum)

  • Valid Australian Driver’s Licence

  • Sound experience in mechanical or electrical servicing, ideally within pumps or related systems

  • Ability to work independently and manage service callouts efficiently

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills

  • Solid understanding of WHS procedures and field safety requirements

Desirable:

  • Experience with hydraulic systems and pump controls (VSDs, panels, etc.)
