After several years of remarkable growth, Synergie is seeking a motivated Finance Officer to join our friendly, high-performing finance team in our Adelaide CBD headquarters.

Your Role
In this role, you will support the Finance Team with a focus on accounts receivable, compliance, and financial reporting. You’ll work closely with both internal stakeholders and external clients, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable (AR) Management
- Prepare and issue client invoices in line with contractual terms.
- Monitor outstanding debtor balances and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Reconcile customer accounts, resolve discrepancies, and manage third-party billing platforms.
- Client onboarding and registration
- Compliance & Audit Support
- Ensure all transactions comply with internal controls, company policies, and relevant legislation.
- Assist with documentation for internal and external audits.
- Payroll & Timesheet Support
- Assist payroll team with timesheet verification, data entry, and reporting.
- Financial Reporting & Administration
- Support month-end processes and assist with annual budget preparation.
- Provide ad hoc reports and general administrative support to the finance team.
- Liaise with our national branch network to resolve finance queries.
- Admin support
- Supporting the Finance team with key reporting requirements
- Handle finance-related emails and resolve queries promptly for both internal teams and external clients.
- Provide flexible, all-round support across the finance function, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and quick problem-solving when needed.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working in a team environment and has a passion for accuracy and efficiency.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Experience in a similar finance or accounts role.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with MYOB Acumatica is highly regarded.
- A positive, team-focused attitude.
- Full working rights in Australia.
