Synergie is seeking a Forklift/ Reach Truck Driver for a packaging supply and distribution industry located in Burton.

About the Role

As a Truck Driver, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring timely and professional delivery of goods to our clients. You’ll operate company vehicles, maintain delivery schedules, and uphold our commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company trucks for local and regional deliveries
  • Load and unload stock as required (manual handling involved)
  • Conduct pre-start and post-trip vehicle checks
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
  • Ensure goods are delivered in excellent condition and on time
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers
  • Adhere to all road rules, safety procedures, and company policies

What We’re Looking For

  • Current valid HR or MR truck licence
  • Proven experience driving medium to heavy rigid trucks (2+ years preferred)
  • Excellent driving record and safety awareness
  • Good physical fitness – some manual handling is required
  • Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
