Synergie has partnered with a leading steel profile cutting and processing company based in Smithfield, is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking General Hand / Forklift Operator to join our busy team.

This is a hands-on role suited for someone who’s safety-conscious, physically fit, and has experience working in a manufacturing or steel environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operating forklifts to load/unload steel plates and materials
Assisting with general warehouse and yard duties
Supporting machine operators and tradesmen as needed
Manual handling, stacking, and sorting of cut steel components
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
Following WHS and site safety procedures at all times

To Be Successful, You’ll Need:

A valid Forklift Licence (LF)
Experience in a steel, fabrication, or industrial environment (preferred)
Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour
Good work ethic and a can-do attitude
Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
Reliable transport and punctuality
