Synergie Australia is seeking an Industrial Painter/Blaster to join our team for our FIFO client located in the Northern Territory.  

The important parts:

• 13 days on / 8 days off FIFO roster with charter points from Cairns, Darwin or Brisbane (travel from other locations at applicant’s expense)
• Excellent flat hourly rate: $50.00 – $55.13
• ASAP start with ongoing employment opportunities for the right candidate

What you will be required to do:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed
• Apply industrial coatings using spray guns, rollers, or brushes
• Mix and match paints and coatings according to specifications
• Inspect surfaces for defects and ensure a smooth, even finish
• Operate and maintain painting equipment safely
• Follow workplace safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and ventilation

To be successful in the role you will have (or willingness to obtain):

• Previous experience in industrial painting or a similar role
• Current manual open driver’s license
• EWP + 11m high risk work license
• Confined space entry and working heights certification (within the last 3 years)
• Knowledge of different painting techniques, coatings, and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, or specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions, including heights and confined spaces
