Job Title: Project Supervisor – Mechanical Plant Installation
Location: Primarily Eastern Creek (with flexibility to move across project sites as required)
Pay: $100p/h Flat rate 8-10 hr shifts, potential for weekend work
Employment Type: Temp Early October 2025 until mid-June 2026 with potential to extend
About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on Project Supervisor/manager to assist our Construction Manager, in overseeing the delivery of 2–3 major projects. This role will be responsible for coordinating on-site construction activities with a focus on mechanical plant erection and process plant installations at existing facilities. The position will be based at our Eastern Creek site but may require movement across other sites depending on project needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Construction Manager with day-to-day site operations and project delivery.
- Supervise and coordinate teams of 5–10 trades and contractors to achieve project outcomes safely and efficiently.
- Oversee mechanical plant erection, installation, and integration with existing site infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with permits, site procedures, and safety requirements.
- Liaise with stakeholders, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and provide regular updates to project management.
- Contribute to project documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements.
Essential Requirements
- Proven project management or site supervisory experience within construction or industrial environments.
- Mechanical trade background with strong technical knowledge of plant and equipment installations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage small-to-medium sized teams (5–10 people).
- Strong focus on safety, compliance, and effective communication.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience delivering Brownfields projects (working within operational sites).
- Background in civil construction activities associated with plant installations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing site requirements.
