Synergie is currently seeking Shutdown Labourers to join a leading waste management company based in Matraville, NSW.

The Details:

  • Location: Matraville, NSW

  • Shift: Day Shift – 5:00am–1:00pm

  • Pay Rate: $34.75ph (Manufacturing Award Rates)

  • Start Date: Immediate start

  • Schedule: 1-day shutdown – be part of a fast-paced, hands-on operation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tank cleaning 

  • Vacuum truck loading

  • Shutdown operations 

  • Cleaning paper production materials, filters, etc. Using brooms etc. 

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Reliable

  • Vac truck experience (ESSENTIAL)

  • CSE & WAH (ESSENTIAL) within 2 years 

  • Physically fit and can lift/carry up to 20kg+ comfortably

  • 2 contactable references

  • Able to complete inductions online 

Highly Regarded Tickets (but not essential) 

  • Vac Truck – Experience

  • Combination Unit – Experience

  • HR Licence

  • Working at Heights

  • Breathing Apparatus (BA)

  • Operate HPWJ

  • DG Licence

  • Be comfortable working in a loud, dusty, and repetitive environment

  • Be physically fit and able to perform demanding tasks

  • Have a strong attention to detail and follow established processes

  • Hold full working rights in Australia

  • Have access to reliable transport
