Synergie Australia is seeking a Water Cart Operator for FIFO client located in the Northern Territory.

The important parts:

  • 7 on / 7 off (day and night shift) FIFO roster with charter points from Cairns or Darwin (travel from other locations at applicant’s expense)
  • $56.00 per hour (flat-rate)
  • ASAP start with ongoing employment opportunities for the right candidate

What you will be required to do:

  • Operate and maintain Water Truck in a non-production environment
  • Perform dust suppression tasks between the mine site and port/township operational areas
  • Regularly carry out manual labour and physically demanding tasks
  • Conduct daily pre-start checks on equipment and report any safety concerns
  • Follow site safety protocols and traffic management plans to ensure safe operations

To be successful in the role you will:

  • 2-3 years’ experience operating a water cart within the civil, construction or mining industry
  • HR Drivers Licence
  • Strong understanding of dust suppression techniques and environmental compliance
  • Have full working rights in Australia
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude towards safety and its importance in every role
