La Soirée Synergie: Synergie Australia ‘Paints Sydney Red’

On Friday the 6th of February, Synergie Australia tied an offical bow on our rebrand efforts; formally introducing the Synergie brand to the Australian market for the first time since its founding in 1969. We did so in style, at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney, with an awards evening with the entire Australian company in front of Circular Quay and the famous Opera House. Staff from all 17 branches flew into NSW for the night, as well as the President of Synergie Global, Mr Victrorien Vaney, who had been spending the week touring our offices in Australia.

We launched our rebrand efforts in August 2025, led by Directors Mike Otty and John Alexandrou, by setting about transitioning two established Australian brands – Synaco and IPA, into Synergie Australia. Synaco Global Recruitment has been the Australian arm of Synergie since 2012, and following its acquisition of IPA in 2024, the directors explored options to launch Synergie once the culture between the two businesses had combined successfully. We soft launched that brand in August 2025. We followed that soft launch with a new website in October 2025. We then rolled out a new suite of services throughout the first months of the rebrand, aligning our to-market offering with Synergie internationally.

The launch night in Sydney was an exercise in how to live our company values and vision: to always conduct business in-person, and tapping into the magic you can only create when you get great people working together. We invited the entire company to the soirée, which at its core, was an awards night and brand launch. We wanted everyone together in person to meet the friends and colleagues who are stewarding Synergie into Australia throughout 2026. We celebrated our 2025 achievements, proposed exciting growth projects for 2026, and left feeling energised and clear as we enter our next phase as a 360º HR Solution for our clients. We had 13 awards to share on the night, the winners of which are shared at the bottom of this blog post.

What made the event incredibly special, was the inclusion of Mr Vaney. Whilst the brand has French pedigree having been founded by Mr Vaney’s father in 1969 in Paris, Synergie Australia remains very Australian, something Mr Vaney commented on throughout his visit. Mr Vaney oversees the entire Synergie Group, which operates in 17 countries and recruits in 49 countries. Headquartered in Paris, the group offers a 360º HR solution, which includes temporary recruitment and labour hire, permanent recruitment, C-suite placements, HR consultation, RPO models, and much more. The launch of the Synergie brand in Australia has been a long time coming, the business now boasts 17 offices in every major metro city  with our head office still located in Adelaide.

In 2026, the business has been structured to support the unique Australian job market. Operationally the company champions eight services:

We also have plans to launch a ninth service in 2026; an HR consultation service for businesses throughout Australia.

Mr Vaney’s visit to Australia signalled a defining chapter for Synergie in the southern hemisphere. Setting foot Down Under for the first time, he arrived in Adelaide with a clear purpose: to champion the Synergie brand as it finds its full voice in Australia. From time spent with the head office team, to strategic sessions in Melbourne shaping the next wave of marketing initiatives, his presence brought both momentum and clarity. The week culminated in Sydney, where he chaired the monthly SLT meeting, engaging deeply with the Australian leadership team on growth, performance and long-term ambition.

Across every conversation, one theme rang true — confidence. Mr Vaney praised the strength and progress of the Australian business while reinforcing a critical message for the future: sustainable success lies in thoughtful service diversification, innovation, and continuing to work, together.

For the first time, our global brand has an Australian face—and it’s built from decades of experience, proven performance, and a shared belief that recruitment should be more than filling roles. It’s about building futures, empowering people, and delivering better outcomes for businesses and communities. We have started as we mean to continue, always getting in-front of our candidates and clients in-person, building real partnerships, and delivering on our promises to deliver our shared ambitions. This is very much a current milestone, as we turn our attentions to supporting our clients and candidates in Australia, and growing substantially domestically and throughout the APAC region. To those reading this update, if you aspire for better throughout 2026, let’s work together.
